Inorganic Nomenclature Tutorial

Part 7: Quizzes

A comment about navigation in this section. You don't need to dismiss the quiz window. All you need to do is switch back to this window if you want to get another quiz and it will put the quiz back into the quiz window from before. If you did close the quiz window, don't worry. In this case a new window will be opened for you. Bottom line is that you don't have to worry about the page generating a new window for each quiz and thus opening 5 billion windows (I really hate that!).

Just in case you need them, here are a couple of aids. For my exams, you will always have the table of polyatomic ions available so it's not "cheating" if you use it to work any of the quizzes. On the other hand, you should be careful about depending on the ionorganic nomenclature map that's been worked up since you won't be allowed to use it on an exam. Definitely use it as a tool for right now if you need it but be sure to wean yourself off of it.

Get the table of polyatomic ions.

Pull up the Periodic Table if you need one.
