This page will check your web browser to attempt to ensure that it will handle the JavaScript I use on certain pages. In general, as long as you are running a v4 or greater browser other than Opera, things should work.

At this time, the known serious problems are a version of Internet Explorer on Windows which has some bugs that prevent my random quizzes from working and Opera (both Mac and Windows) since they choose not to give better support to the DOM so my dynamically generated HTML on my quiz pages don't work in their browser. The order I use to check your browser is to first look for known problem web browsers and then to look to see which version of JavaScript your program supports.

If you're concerned about privacy issues, this is a locally run script. I get no information about your machine unless you take the time to email it to me. Even then, all I get is the userAgent string which your browser uses to identify itself. It gives minimal information.

If you're curious about what your browser reports as its identification string, give the following a click and a window will pop up and show exactly what I'm looking at-

IMPORTANT: if a window doesn't pop up when you click on "Identify me!", your browser either doesn't interact well with JavaScript or you may have third-party pop-up blocking software installed which isn't playing nice. Pop-up blocking software shouldn't keep a window opening when someone actually requests one by clicking on something to pop it up. If that is happening, I can't do anything about it since it's not the fault of my code.
